The Berinda Cox Fish Market in Oistins, Christ Church, is in the middle of a facelift, with vendors generally happy about the repairs.
Most of the market has already been transformed but there is still a section under construction, which means the vendors are all housed in another section, which can get cramped.
While some of the vendors are making the most of it, a small group sitting under a nearby tree complained they were being forced to sell from outside the market.
“The work is a good thing, but there are some vendors who block off their stalls even though they aren’t selling anything, so people like we can’t use them,” said one. (CA)
