Power outages affecting several parishes

The Barbados Light & Power (BL&P) has released a statement today, informing the public that they are experiencing generation issues. As such several parishes are without electricity.

Several areas in St Michael, St Philip, Christ Church and St George are currently without power, and crews are working on rectifying the problem.

BL&P is hoping that the issues will be resolved over the next few days, which will minimise the need for “load sharing” among its residential customers. However, in the interim some customers may be affected by power outages. (PR)
