The intended start of the Carebaco region junior championships at the Wildey Gymnasium was put on hold yesterday due to the approaching storm Dorian which caused an island wide shut down of the country.
President of the Barbados Badminton Association Kevin Wood indicated that everything was on stream for the games involving the 11 and under and 17 and under teams from Suriname, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica and Barbados.
“Once the system has passed and we are given the all clear, adjustments will be made to adjust and complete the fixtures,” added Wood.
