Share post:

Worthing Beach, Christ Church, will be closed from 5:30 p.m. today, until 7 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, September 27.

The Ministry of Environment and National Beautification has said that this is to allow for an exercise involving the flushing of Graeme Hall Swamp.

Therefore the sluice gate will be opened between 5:30 and 8 p.m.

Red flags, which indicate no swimming, will be in place along the beach, and sea bathers are asked to adhere to the flags and any other signs erected by the National Conservation Commission. (BGIS)
