WHILE MORE THAN 100 pupils of Sharon Primary School went back to classes yesterday for the first time in two weeks, there remains an air of uncertainty the way forward.

School resumed for 43 Class 2 pupils, who are now at Holy Innocents in Ayshford, St Thomas, while 66 from Class 3 joined Class 4 pupils who were relocated to the Jackson Seventh Adventist Church from last week.

The children were settling into their new accommodations comfortably, said principal Pamela Small-Williams, but she could not state with any certainty when the investigations into the environmental issues that forced the closure of the St Thomas school would concluded, and when her charges would be allowed to return.
