A man who didn’t move out of the way fast enough was shot in the thigh earlier today along Wildey Road, St Michael.

Romario Lewis, 29, was walking along the road when he saw two men running towards him.

The one who was armed reportedly shouted for him to get out of the way. Lewis was shot in the thigh and made his way to the nearby Edgar Cochrane Polyclinic.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment by an ambulance from the headquarters of the Emergency Ambulance Service, which is located nearby. (SAT)
