Motorcyclist injured in accident

A motorcyclist escaped serious injuries in an accident this morning at the Bakers Road junction in St Peter.

The cyclist, who was travelling north, was in a collision with a motor van which exited Mullins Grove and turned right onto Baker’s Road.

The cyclist was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance for treatment.

Both vehicles were damaged during the accident which occurred around 10:30. (SAT)
