Motorists travelling along Highway 1 from Sunday, October 6, to Wednesday October 9, can expect to experience traffic disruptions.

This is to facilitate the paving of roads between Sunset Crest Mall and the Chattel House Village in St James, as part of the Adaptation Measures to Counter the Effects of Climate Change (AMCECC) Project, also known as the “Ridge to Reef” Project.

The project, which was launched on July 15 and is predominantly funded by the United States Agency for International Development, aims to improve the management of storm water flows, and to reduce flooding and other drainage challenges in Sunset Crest, Holetown and Trents, in St James. (BGIS)
