Barbados Tridents will take on the unbeaten Guyana Amazon Warriors at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow, hoping to take the first spot in the final of the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) tournament.
It will be an uphill task as the Warriors, who will be playing at home at Providence Stadium, last night became the first team to play unbeaten during the preliminary round of the CPL.
Additionally, Tridents do not have a winning record against the Amazon Warriors.
While the winner goes to the final, the loser will have a second chance against the winner of the eliminator.
That match will be played at 1 p.m. between the reeling defending champions Trinbago Knight Riders and St Kitts Nevis Patriots.
Last night, Warriors won the toss and opted to field, limiting Knight Riders to 143 for five in 20 overs. In reply, the Warriors won by seven wickets, reaching 144 for three in 18.4 overs. (SAT)
