Thefts not at Barbados Port

Share post:

The Barbados Port Inc. (BPI) has dismissed a video purporting to show workers removing wheels from vehicles here in Barbados.

The video, which was circulating on social media, has a backdrop of containers through which the men disappeared after removing the wheels.

A statement issued today said: “This is not a local video, but more importantly does not depict the plant of the Port of Bridgetown.

“Be advised that all BPI employees wear the required company branded uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) while in Port and on duty. BPI assures all importers that we remain committed to the highest standards of service and security protocols at all levels of our operation.”  (PR/SAT)
