Suki trailing 1-8

For over two decades, Ronald “Suki” King has been rightfully called a wizard of draughts. However, King will need the magic of Merlin to stop Italian Sergio Scarpetta from holding on to the World Three Move Restriction title today.

With eight games to play, King dropped to 1-8 after stumbling in yesterday’s round of matches at the Carlisle Bay Conference Room.

That means that today and tomorrow King will have to win all eight matches, at a yet to be determined venue, to clinch the crown which he once held for over ten years. One drawn game would signal the end of the clash. (KB)
