PARADISE issued the perfect response to last week‘s loss to Empire with a resounding 7-0 victory over Barbados Soccer Academy (BSA) in their Capelli Cup Championship Stage clash on Saturday night at the Wildey Turf.

National striker Armando “Sugar” Lashley and Akeel “Apple” Applewhaite both secured hat tricks to keep the Dover side with a chance of advancing to next month’s quarter finals.

In the night cap game, Shakerie Mottley also deposited a hat trick into the goals bank, steering Pride of Gall Hill to a crucial 3-2 victory against Youth Milan.  A loss would have eliminated Gall Hill and Mottley’s last gasp winner ensured their stay in the tournament pending Milan’s result against Ellerton. (NM)
