A clean-up operation has been undertaken at the former Louis Lynch Secondary School, Whitepark Road, St Michael.
It came eight months after this newspaper published photographs showing the building overrun with bush and debris and in a rundown state.
An official in the Ministry of Housing and Lands told the Sunday Sun that the clean-up was the result of Government’s commitment to bring back into use several of its unoccupied buildings.
“Government has received a number of offers for buildings which are no longer in use and it is important that we still upkeep and maintain these buildings,” the source said.
