All public schools will close at noon today as a result of water and power outages affecting most of the island.
The outages have impacted the preparation of meals at two main School Meals centres, in Country Road, St Michael and St Christopher, Christ Church.
The canteens at some secondary schools were also affected. The Ministry of Education have asked parents and guardians to collect their children/wards as soon as possible. (PR)
