PREPARATION, practice, planning and performance by multiple players were key planks in Spartan’s winning the Barbados Cricket Association’s Elite Division title this season.
Long-standing coach Dave Marshall made this declaration after the Parkites defeated Wildey by 204 runs yesterday to clinch their first top-league crown since 2010, when they shared the title with Sagicor Life UWI, and their 21st overall.
“The whole mindset of the players this season was completely different. They were more focused on winning the Cup this year. They were more disciplined at practice and they put in a lot of hard work and we planned well,” Marshall told NATION SPORT after the triumph. (EZS)
