It was a triumphant night for St George North and St Philip North when the National Sports Council/Youth Development Programme Under-19 Community Football Tournament continued on Thursday at Brereton, St Philip.
Jadon Pitt scored the competition’s second hat-trick to pilot St George North to a comfortable 3-0 victory over St Joseph in the opening match while Jaron Oughterson’s lone strike saw St Philip North edge St John 1-0 in the nightcap.
Pitt netted in the ninth and 24th minutes to give St George North a 2-0 half-time cushion before sealing the outcome with a 38th-minute strike. (EZS)
