Three national records in three days just was not enough for swimming wonder Danielle Titus as she started to break her own records when the Barbados Aquatic  Sports Association’s Short Course National Championships continued at the Aquatic Centre on Thursday night.

Alpha Shark’s Titus followed up predictable victory in the 100 metres freestyle for 15-17 girls by sinking the 29.80 record in the 50 metres backstroke, which she had established at nationals last year, with a new time of 29.22.

That speed also dragged home Danielle Treasure of Pirates in 31.86 and Alpha’s Ashley Weekes, 33.27 with the trio finishing well inside the Goodwill Games’ qualifying time of 35.56. (KB)
