Serious accident in St George

An accident at the intersection of Drax Hall Road and Greens, St George has left a motorcyclist nursing serious head injuries.

According to police, the incident, which occurred around 3:20pm, involved the cyclist, who has been identified as 32-year-old Rommell Stowe of Baird Village, St George and a white Mercedes Benz driven by Lester Brathwaite, 49, of #6 Parton Apartments, Newbury, St George.

Stowe was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance while both vehicles are extensively damaged. (AGB)
