More housing is needed for the elderly population says a former chairman of the National Assistance Board (NAB), Apostle Dr David Durant.
According to Durant of Restoration Ministries, too many senior citizens are being thrown out of their homes and being mistreated.
“They are being put out of homes that they built, and that hurts me because any nation treating their elderly in this fashion is a nation that will stand in judgement for this mistreatment. So accommodation is a concern of mine and I’m hoping that more housing can be available for the elderly,” Durant said.
He made these comments on Thursday at the Brittons Hill, St Michael church during its annual Christmas luncheon. (TG)
