FOR MORE THAN FOUR HOURS yesterday, not one vehicle was weighed at the Ministry of Transport, Works and Maintenance at The Pine, St Michael.
Motorists vented their frustrations after some revealed they had arrived from as early as 7 a.m. to get their vehicles weighed, a licensing requirement, but received service only around 1:45 p.m.
There was a long queue of private vehicles waiting to be weighed, while at the inspection section, there were private and public service vehicles also in line.
A female motorist, who declined to give her name, said she was upset because the wait to have her vehicle weighed would cost her extra.(TG)
