‘Bright future’ for table tennis

Share post:

Barbados has made encouraging progress in the table tennis arena, and with the opportunities available for expert coaching, expectations are high as the sport enters the year 2020.

This is the view of president of the Barbados Table Tennis Association (BTTA), Dale Rudder.

Rudder, in an exclusive interview with NATIONSPORT, was giving an assessment of the status of table tennis while taking a look at some of the short- to medium-term objectives.

“After much prodding and a deep respect for the progress being made in the sport, we have been the recipient of yet another coaching opportunity. The Barbados Olympic Association has agreed to assist with an international expert to help prepare our national teams for the upcoming championships in March and April,” Rudder said. (PH)
