Fears shooting won’t be the last

Share post:

Some residents in Redman’s Village are in fear that last night’s shooting of Kirk Bowen will not be the last such incident.

That’s why they are supporting the call for a police outpost to be erected in the St Thomas community so as to nip in the bud what they say is a growing problem.

Around 7:30 p.m., the quiet of the village was disrupted by a volley of gunshots that resulted in Goddard, also known as “Patch”, being shot in the head.

“He troubles nobody. He is a sweet boy . . . . All ah we grow up together and that boy is the best of he mother children,” a distraught resident, who asked not to be named, said of the victim. (SDB Media)
