THE FINANCIAL CONTROLLER of the cash-strapped Transport Board yesterday admitted she was forced to write the general manager about a number of financial anomalies and irregularities that had been noticed between April 2015 and June 2018.
Felicia Sue, who also acted as general manager for a short period from July 2018 to 2019 after completion of a special audit, made the revelation during a brief 48-minute testimony before Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in the Senate Chamber.
Accompanied by her attorney Chester Sue, the accountant was questioned about the accounting practices at the state agency and what would have led to an inability to maintain a proper fleet.
The questions were posed by PAC chairman Opposition Leader Bishop Joseph Atherley, Members of Parliament Colin Jordan and Sandra Husbands, and Senators Lindell Nurse and Lucille Moe.
Sue’s testimony surrounded what would have led to a number of memos being written to management.
