He did not deviate from his daily routine on the day that police alleged he murdered Cosmo Alonza Hinds, accused Matthew Anderson Farley told the No. 3 Supreme Court on Friday.
“I never left Crab Hill with anyone. I never left Crab Hill that day. After the 26th, my life was the same routine, so there was no need for me to run; there was no need for me to hide,” he said.
Farley, who opted to remain in the dock for an unsworn statement, said he told police he had been living in the area for at least three or four months prior to September 26, 2013.
Explaining that he sold “wrappers, fanta and cigarettes”, the accused said he got up after 10 a.m., went to the house next door to catch water because where he was living had no water or electricity, took his supplies and went to a shop in Crab Hill. That shop, he added, was where he went every day because “I is hustle stock”. (HLE)
