Police are on the scene along a path connecting Welches Terrace and Licorish Village, My Lord’s Hill, St Michael, allegedly investigating a shooting death.
Residents said they heard gunshots around noon but said the area was not known for violence.
The path is known as the train line.
There are unconfirmed reports that a body was discovered after the shooting. (CA/SAT)
