Police name man shot and killed in Checker Hall

The man who was shot and yelled last night in Checker Hall, St Lucy has been identified as Antuan Connell.

According to lawmen, the 20-year-old was at home around 11:50 p.m. “when a number of explosions were heard”.

 Connell was struck in the upper and lower abdomen and was transported to Sandy Crest Medical Centre in St James for treatment. He was pronounced dead on arrival.

This is the eighth murder for 2020.
