Ministry of Education continues work on online platform

The Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training (METVT) is working to implement the online education platform G Suite for Education for the scheduled beginning of Term 3 on April 14.

The ministry recently outlined the progress of the GSuite App, which will be administered across the public school system. To date, the ministry has completed the training of all Information Technology Coordinators (ITCs); created email addresses for all staff and students of public primary and secondary schools as well as for staff of all public nursery schools.

Public primary and secondary schools have either completed, or are in the process of issuing email addresses to their students.
The ministry has also instructed all schools to set up a separate email address to respond to queries from parents and guardians.
