The Transport Board service will continue uninterrupted says Chief Executive Officer Fabian Wharton.

He had announced a shut down on Voice of Barbados’ Brass Tacks call-in radio programme early Monday, but later in the day, said that was no longer the plan.

However, Wharton pointed out that the shuttling of essential workers, who are exempt from the national shutdown, was a top priority.

“We have taken the decision to keep the services open for now, we will inform the public in due course of any further changes and we are pushing ahead with our shuttling services for essential workers,” he said. (TG)
