Grass fire affects St Thomas communities

Fire fighters are battling a large grass fire in St Thomas.

The blaze started in Hangman’s Hill around 3:30 p.m. and raced across the Forty Acres and Vaucluse districts.

Residents in the neighbourhoods of Arch Hall, Christie Village, Shop Hill and Bridgefield in the same parish were affected by the smoke. (AC)
