Shoppers at Popular Supermarket, Spooner’s Hill, St Michael were satisfied with the experience today.

Some shoppers told Nation News there were no long lines and they completed their shopping quickly.

One woman, who identified herself only a Sandy, said: “It was great actually. I was surprised there was not any line and when you got into the supermarket it was relatively light. Everything is tapering out now. People would have probably exhausted their shopping experience. Now it may just be a case of people getting stuff they missed the first time . . . .”

Meanwhile, there were long lines as people waited to use Surepay outlets at the Carlton Supermarket Complex, Black Rock, St Michael and Channell Supermarket, also in Black Rock.

There were mainly middle-aged and elderly people waiting to use the Surepay outlet at Carlton.

Under the curfew guidelines, shopping and banking have ben organisd by alphabetical order. This is part of Government’s response to limit the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
