A 32-year-old Barbadian male is the latest COVID-19-positive patient.
The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory tested 155 people yesterday, and of the 122 results returned, he is the only positive.
His case is under investigation by the Ministry of Health and Wellness because he has no travel history, and no known contact has been identified so far.
He brings the number of persons in isolation to 38 and the number of confirmed cases in Barbados to 81, comprising 43 females and 38 males.
Seven people have died.
No-one was released from isolation today, so those numbers remain at 39. The public health laboratory has now conducted 2 160 tests since February 11, 2020. (BGIS)
