A 32-year-old man is the latest person to test positive for COVID-19.

His positive test was among 138 results returned by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory yesterday. All of the others were negative.

The source of contact for this new case is under investigation by the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

Meanwhile, four persons will leave isolation today after two consecutive negative tests for the viral illness. This brings the number of persons in isolation down to 20 and the number of recoveries up to 57.

There are now 84 confirmed cases in Barbados and the number of deaths remains at seven.

Up to yesterday, the public health laboratory completed 2926 tests. (BGIS)
