Two men are scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday to face charges related to the discovery of three firearms and 79 rounds of ammunition.
Ramon Omar St Hill, 32, and Rodney Angelus Thomas Greaves, 35, both of Church Gap, Kings Street, St Michael, are slated to appear at the District “A” Magistrate’s Court.
Police say investigations by the Antigun and Gangs and Major Crime Units led to the execution of a search warrant at St Hill’s home, where they allegedly found two 9mm firearms, one .45 calibre pistol and the rounds of ammunition for both weapons.
Further investigations revealed that Greaves was also allegedly linked to the firearms and ammo. The latter was discovered in high capacity magazines.
St Hill and Greaves were jointly charged with three counts of possession of a firearm without licence to do so and one count of possession of ammunition without a permit to do so. (PR/SAT)
