Importation of heifers ‘historic’

One hundred and fifty-nine pregnant heifers arrived in Barbados on May 12.

The jerseys and holsteins were selected from the Strickland Ranch in America.

This importation will eventually help local milk producers to boost their milk supply.

The importation was descrided as a historic occasion by Minister of Agriculture Indar Weir. (SB)
