Ambulance personnel confirmed the three people in a house at River Land, St Philip, were all dead on the scene.
The names have not yet been released, but police say it was a 42-year-old woman, her 24-year-old son and another male, 23, who were shot and killed.
Neighbours reported hearing gun shots around 1:30 a.m. today, the bodies were discovered and the police summoned.
