Man undergoes surgery after being shot twice

A 30-year-old man was rushed to surgery after being shot while walking through a track in the area of Odessa McClean Road, My Lord’s Hill, St Michael, last night.

His name has not been released, but police say he was shot twice, in the back and chest, around 9:30 p.m.

When police arrived on the scene, they found the injured man, who was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. His injuries were described as life threatening.
