Three hundred and thirty persons left Barbados early this morning on a one-way flight to the United Kingdom (UK) on British Airways.
Most of them were citizens of the UK, France and Germany, who were stranded here after the country was locked down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
An official at the airline told Nation News that the flight was full.
It departed the Grantley Adams International Airport at 8:45 a.m.
Among those leaving was Scottish visitor, Mike Delaney, who was among the first batch of people to be quarantined at the Paragon Base after contracting the coronavirus. (MB)
