‘Provoked’ by homosexual

There was evidence that homosexual David Delisle Harewood provoked 16-year-old Raffique Vincent Murray hours before he was killed.

It was for that reason, said Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions Alliston Seale, that the Crown accepted Murray’s plea to the lesser count of manslaughter.

The 21-year-old, of Sinckler Road, Haggatt Hall, St Michael, was back in the No. 2 Supreme Court yesterday after he pleaded not guilty to murdering Harewood on October 3, 2016, but confessed to unlawfully killing him – manslaughter – on the same date.

His matter was conducted via Zoom. (HLE)
