The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) is today carrying out repairs to a 16-inch burst main at Porters, St James and a four-inch burst main at Dodd’s Land, St Philip.

According to a media release issued today, BWA is also “continuing to assist residents of several districts affected by an inconsistent pipe borne supply, via refilling of the community tanks and its fleet of water tankers”.

“These areas in the parishes of St John, St Joseph, St Andrew and The Mount #1 & #2 in St Peter will continue as usual to be served by the tankers throughout the day and into the night,” the statement said.

The BWA apologises for the inconvenience these disruptions in service may cause. (PR/KG)
