House renovations which charity worker Jordan English was about to execute for a mother and her four children – who were discovered living in deplorable and unsanitary conditions – have been halted.
English reported yesterday that he and businessman Anderson Cherry had been served with cease and desist letters by the attorney of the owners of the property at Diamond Valley, St Philip.
For the past four days, the men, with helpers from English’s committee, spent several hours removing garbage from the house, cleaning and sanitising the property and debushing the area.
However, when they arrived yesterday, No Trespass signs had been erected. (MB)
