Police are investigating the death of 28-year-old Kadeem Ramon Brathwaite, of Butler’s Avenue, Spooners Hill, St. Michael, whose body was found at Pioneer Road, St Michael on June 7.
“On Sunday, June 7, 2020 about 7:35 p.m. police responded to reports of shots being fired in the area of Pioneer Road and Reece Road, Bush Hall, St Michael.
“On arrival, police discovered the motionless body at Pioneer Road with injuries. Ambulance personnel were summoned. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene,” a statement from police said.
In addition to Brathwaite’s death, two men were shot at Country Road, St Michael. They were taken to the Queen Elizabeth hospital by private vehicles.
