Virus cases still at 96

The Ministry of Health and Wellness said today that all of the 129 tests carried out for novel coronavirus (COVID-19) by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory yesterday were negative for the virus.

Additionally, no one will be released from isolation today.

A statement said, as a result, six people remain in isolation at Harrison Point, St Lucy. Of the 96 confirmed cases, 52 are females and 44 males. Eighty-three people have recovered and seven have died.

The public health laboratory has completed 6 321 tests. (BGIS)
