Veteran journalist Patrick Hoyos passed away earlier this morning at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
His brother Tony said Pat, as he was fondly known, died at 4:30 a.m. of cancer.
He leaves to mourn wife Sophie, children Frederic and Mandy and four brothers.
Hoyos worked at the Barbados Advocate, The Nation Publishing Company and operated the Broad Street Journal. He was a columnist in the Sunday Sun and Business Authority.
