No spectators for BRC meet

No spectators and special notes will govern tomorrow’s Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) AutoCross which starts at the Bushy Park race circuit at noon.

It will be first speed event since the restart of the motoring season after a three-month shutdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic and a full slate drivers expected.

They include male and female defending champions, driver Christopher “Teach” McFarlane in the Mitsubishi Lancer and Cheryl-Ann Hurley in a Toyota Starlet 1600.

Others are Jody Forte, in a Subaru BRZ, Maurice Chapman and Omar Boodhoo in similar machines, Stephen Nicholls, in a Nissan March 1600, Ryan Rock in a Toyota Starlet, Marlon Bell in the GoodRide Nissan Skyline and rookie Ramon Moore, who will be driving a Corolla. (TT)
