Barbados’ borders reopened today and the stars are returning.

One of the first to reach the island is rapper/actor Drake. The 33-year-old Canadian arrived around 10 a.m. today on Air Drake.

After three-months of lockdown, curfews and restrictions to fight the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19, commercial flights are also resuming at the Grantley Adams International Airport.

The Government of Barbados last month announced the phased return of airlines from Canada, England and Europe, the United States and the rest of the Caribbean.

Prime Minister Mia Mottley has also been appearing on various radio and television networks touting the benefits of the Barbados 12 Month Welcome Stamp which allows people to live and work here for a year. (SAT)
