As friends and relatives of Glenroy James question why he was killed, Pastor Alvin Lucas, of the Good News Community Seventh-day Adventist Church, urged them to take comfort in knowing that God will provide a way.

The 51-year-old contractor of Grazettes, St Michael, was brutally murdered along with Nation photographer Christoff Griffith on June 22.

James had been contracted by the Anglican Church to carry out excavation work at Bishops Court Hill, St Michael, when he was killed on the property.

In a small service of thanksgiving at the church in St Philip, yesterday, James’ best friend Christine Milling said Christmas and birthdays would not be the same without him. (RA)
