Green Paper on Water Zoning focus of town hall meeting

The Ministry of Energy and Water Resources will host its first town hall meeting to receive additional feedback on the 2020 Water Protection and Land Use Zoning Policy Green Paper on Thursday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Queen’s College, Husbands, St James.

Only 35 people can be facilitated as a result of social distancing protocols.

A media statement today said the Green Paper was prepared by the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources, in collaboration with the Barbados Water Authority.

It may be viewed on the website of the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources, the Barbados Water Authority’s website, or at https://gisbarbados.gov.bb/download/green-paper-on-waterprotection-land-use-zoning-policy/. Reference copies are available for viewing at any branch of the National Library Service.
