Accident and Emergency Department to be relocated temporarily

In preparation for Tropical Storm Gonzalo, the Accident and Emergency Department (AED) of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital will be temporarily relocated to the Antenatal and Haematology Clinics from 8 p.m. today.

The department will be able to respond to emergencies as limited disruption is expected. The relocation is scheduled to take place between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

During the temporary reloca tion, the AED will be accessed through the glass doors of the Lion’s Caribbean Eye Care Centre; and security and traffic management arrangements will be handled by hospital security. (PR)
