Virus cases at 110

The Ministry of Health and Wellness said today Barbados’ tally of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases now stands at 110, after two people tested positive for the viral illness yesterday.

A 28-year-old female visitor, who arrived on Air Canada on July 19, is the fourth person from that flight to test positive. The other confirmed case is a 38-year-old Barbadian/American, who arrived on a Jet Blue flight yesterday.

There are now nine people in isolation at Harrison Point, St Lucy. Ninety-four people have recovered and seven have died.
