The people of Church Village, St Joseph, and its environs remain mystified by the disappearance of 67-year-old Mark Forde, who was last seen last week Thursday.

Harbouring thoughts about kidnapping, they told a DAILY NATION team they could not understand how a man who could barely walk could go missing without a trace for a week.

missing-man-mark-andrew-forde“It’s real strange; a man that can’t walk 50 feet on his own but can’t be found. Somebody had to carry he way, given that if he had to go to the supermarket or post office, somebody had to take him,” said Malcolm Callender.

Hal Prescod agreed. He said Forde could often be found liming right there next to him at the shop and would have been in front of the team talking if he was not missing. (CA)
